FISCHER Sauerländer stands for a collection featuring exceptional picture books, a sophisticated narrative program for children and young adults, as well as unique non-fiction titles. Renowned authors from German-speaking countries and around the globe feel at home here, alongside new talents. With the goal of publishing exciting and bold literature for young readers, FISCHER Sauerländer aspires to open the windows to new worlds.

In 1994, the foundation for today's publishing house was laid with the children's book program of Fischer Schatzinsel. With the addition of the Sauerländer publishing house, founded in 1807 in Switzerland by Heinrich Remigius Sauerländer, a distinguished children's and YA publishing house has emerged since 2013.

Program

FISCHER Sauerländer Kinderbuch invites young explorers and bookworms to dive into fantastic worlds and experience exciting adventures. Heart-openers such as modern board and picture books, awe-inspiring non-fiction books, as well as funny and thrilling novels for children up to 12 years old, offer something special for every interest. The range includes enchanting series for girls, action-packed reading material, fantastic adventure series, and beautifully illustrated read-aloud books.

Successful series and sequels like »Worst Week Ever,« »Land of Stories,« "Liliane Susewind," »Liliane Susewind«, »Der Zaubergarten,« »Rick Nautilus,« »Zimt & weg« and »Die Geburtstagsbande« represent diverse reading fun for both girls and boys alike. They are complemented by picture book classics like »Weißt du eigentlich wie lieb ich dich hab?,« the cheerful and colorful books featuring the famous postal cow Lieselotte, or the search-and-find books exploring the legendary question »Where's Waldo?«.
